The Colorado Avalanche will welcome Atlantic division foe the Montreal Canadiens to Pepsi Center Wednesday night. The Habs have struggled to keep the puck out of their net in recent weeks, but I expect to see this game staying under the total.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Woes - The Avs have lost four straight home at Pepsi Center with only a total of seven goals scored. The under is 6-2 in their last eight in front of the home-town crowd.

2. Semyon Varlamov - The Avs netminder Semyon Varlamov was pulled after conceding goals on each of the first two shots he faced in Sunday's 4-1 loss at Buffalo. We can expect him to come out eager to set the record straight tonight.

3. X-Factor - The Habs' Max Pacioretty is leading the team with his 20 goals this season but the captain has just one goal and two assists in his last 11 games.
