*10* SURE SHOT on LA Clippers.
The Los Angeles Clippers will be a home underdog against the Spurs in their first game after the All Star break. The Clippers lost in overtime at Boston before the break, but they've won seven of their last nine overall, and have as many wins at home as San Antonio has on the road. My money is on the home dog.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Spurs have really struggled coming off a long layoff, going 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games playing on 3 or more days rest. They've also been a bad bet against the top teams in the league, going 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games versus teams with a winning percentage above .600.
2. Home Cookin' - The Clippers have won four of their last five home games, despite the absence of Blake Griffin. J.J. Redick has helped pick up the slack, and he scored a career high 40 points in a home win over Houston before the break. He's currently ranked second in the NBA hitting 47.6 percent of his three point attempts.
3. X-Factor - The Clippers are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS loss.
Selection: This is a play on the L.A. Clippers (10*)
