*10* MASSACRE on Richmond.
The VCU Rams are sitting in a three way tie at the top of the Atlantic-10 Conference, with a record of 11-2. They host the Richmond Spiders tonight, and they are asked to cover a pretty hefty spread. Richmond gave them a run for their money earlier this season, losing in overtime 94-89 at home. My money is on the visitors plus the points.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Rams have won seven of the last 10 in this series, but the majority of those games were close. They went to overtime three times during that span, and six of the last nine were decided by single digits.
2. T.J. Cline - The junior forward scored 25 points on 10-of-19 shooting in a four point loss at Davidson in his last game. He played very well scoring 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting against VCU in the last meeting between the two teams.
3. X-Factor - The Spiders are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games versus a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600.
Selection: This is a play on the Richmond Spiders (10*)
