*10* ACC GAME OF THE MONTH on Duke.
I had Duke in their epic win over the Tar Heels at Chapel Hill on Wednesday, and I'm ready to jump right back on the horse this Saturday. The bookmakers still aren't giving the Blue Devils any respect, as they are getting a bunch of points against the Cardinals in Louisville. I'll take the points.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - Duke has won three of four in this series since 2012, and one of those was a double-digit victory at Louisville. The Blue Devils have covered the spread in five of their last seven road games, and Louisville has failed to cover in five of their last six Saturday games.
2. Injuries - The Cardinals are banged up, with forwards Anas Mahmoud Raymond Spalding nursing injuries. Center Mangok Mathiang is out indefinitely with a foot injury. That could leave them undersized here in today's game.
3. X-Factor - The Blue Devils have plans on winning another national championship, but the Cardinals will be serving a self imposed ban this post-season. That can't help motivation for this young team.
Selection: This is a play on the Duke Blue Devils (10*)
