*10* ANNIHILATOR on Georgetown.
The Georgetown Hoyas are coming off a home loss to Big East powerhouse Xavier, but they should be able to get back on track Saturday hosting Butler. The Bulldogs have lost two of their last three, and they have a losing record on the road. My money is on the Hoyas as a home dog.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Hoyas have won five of the last seven meetings in this series dating back to 2009, and they won three of four at home during that span. They covered the spread in four of those five victories.
2. Revenge Spot - The Bulldogs beat Georgetown 87-76 at home a few weeks ago, setting up a revenge spot for the Hoyas tonight. Senior guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera scored 21 points and added seven assists in that game. He was 5-of-9 from beyond the arc in a losing effort. He should be primed for another standout performance tonight.
3. X-Factor - The Bulldogs shot just 38.7 percent in a loss at Villanova last Saturday, and their leading scorer Kelan Martin has shot less than 35 percent from the field in their last three games.
Selection: This is a play on the Georgetown Hoyas (10*)
