*8* MASSACRE on Chicago Bulls.
The Chicago Bulls come into Orlando off three straight losses to Miami, Atlanta and Portland. The Magic have lost three of their last four, and they trail Chicago by four games in the Eastern Conference Standings. Neither team is currently sitting in a playoff position, but the Bulls are just a half game back of eighth place Detroit. My money is on the Bulls.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Bulls have won five of the last seven meetings, holding the Magic under 100 points in four of those five wins. The Bulls appear to be the team destined to sneak into the playoffs, while Orlando may just fade away in the final few weeks of the season.
2. Home Cookin' - The Magic have lost three of their last five at home, and poor play defensively has been an issue. Head coach Scott Skiles is emphasizing responsibility on defense heading into tonight's game: "It's less about my message now and more about a response," coach Scott Skiles said. "Somebody has got to respond and pick us up on the defensive end and get us going on the offensive end."
3. X-Factor - The Magic have failed to cover in each of the last six versus opponent's from the NBA Central Division.
Selection: This is a play on the Chicago Bulls (8*)
