The Stetson Hatters finished in last place in the A-Sun Conference this season, while the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles finished in the middle of the pack with an 8-6 conference record. The two teams split the season series, with the home team winning each game, and now they meet in the conference tournament in Fort Myers. My money is on Stetson as the big underdog.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - The Hatters closed the season in fine form, with three straight wins. Two of those wins came on the road, and the other was an 80-73 win over the Eagles. Now FGCU is asked to cover a bunch of points in the conference tournament just a couple weeks later.

2. Heat Check - The Hatters were shooting out the lights in their last game, with 13 made three pointers, hitting 46.4 percent from beyond the arc. They shot 52.2 percent from the field in a 21-point road win at Lipscomb.

3. X-Factor - Stetson is by far the hotter of the two teams, coming in shooting 50 percent from the field, and an inexplicable 45.9 percent from beyond the arc over it's last five games.
