Both the Dallas Mavericks and the Denver Nuggets will be seeking to rebound
from upset defeats Sunday. The Mavs are coming off a 104-101 setback
against the Kings Thursday while the Nuggets fell 121-120 in overtime
against the Nets Friday. I like the idea of catching points on the
home-team in this match-up and I recommend a play on the Nuggets.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Situational - The Nuggets are 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 games
following a straight up loss and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 following a
ATS loss.
2. Look Ahead Spot - The Mavs have a
hellish schedule coming up as they'll face the LA Clippers, Detroit,
Indiana, Charlotte, Cleveland, Golden State and Portland x 2 within a 17 day period. They've already defeated the Nuggets twice this season so
they're definitely running the risk of looking past tonight's game.
3. X-Factor - Dallas Chandler Parsons is averaging 25.3 points per game on 62.3 percent shooting in his last four games, but he's averaging just
12.8 in five career games at Denver.
Selection: This is a play on the Denver Nuggets (10)
