6.5 is a ton of points, but there are a good number of reasons to still take the Jaguars. To start with, Pederson likes playing starters in preseason, so we will likely see more of Lawrence and the first line offense on Saturday. That said, the battle for back-up QB is an intriguing one, with Nathan Rourke playing particularly well in preseason. Another bullish selection on RB is Tank Bigsby, and if ever a name was appropriate, this is one. The Jaguars are 2-0 in wins and ATS to date.

Miami starters will play "more than a series and less than a half" so don't look for too much of Tua and company. Back-up QB White is out on concussion protocol, so it won't be quite as intense a game for Skylar Thompson. We will likely see many variations at RB for the Dolphins. Both defenses were very good in their previous start, holding the opposition to a TD or less. I am on Jacksonville this season and although preseason games are a difficult call, my sense is that Jacksonville with great potential this season, is further evolved at this point in the preseason.
