The Mariners continued their dominance of the Rangers in typical close fashion on Saturday, winning another 1 run game. The Rangers are a fine hitting team but the M's have a large edge in all pitching. Flexen starts for Seattle and has been very dependable lately, with just 4 runs given up over 18 innings in his last three starts. He faces Glen Otto (4-5, 5.50), who has largely struggled this year. He has one decent start in his last 3 appearances but has sandwiched it with short 4 run starts. Of note, Otto's ERA at home is fully 5 runs worse than when on the road!

The Mariners have effectively limited the Rangers offense and their bullpen is sparkling lately. Otto likely won't pitch for length, and the Rangers relievers are managing just a 5.55 ERA in recent games. I'll take good pitching over offense any day. It could be close again, but take the Mariners to three-peat.
