The Rays are challenged at the moment due to a ton of injuries, not hitting very well and missing key pieces in their pen. While they run out their ace McClanahan today, they face another very hot pitcher in the Orioles’ Watkins. The Orioles are a young and promising team at this point in the season, and very good at home. Off a Yankees series win and a victory over the Rays last night, I think they can at least keep it close vs Tampa today, even with McClanahan on the mound. McClanahan’s starts are normally 6 or 7 innings, allowing the Orioles a little leeway on offense. Take the Orioles on the run line at + 1 ½.
