This is an 8* O/U SUPER-BLOWOUT on the UNDER between Purdue and Wisconsin.
For a number of different reasons, we believe this number is just a little high. The 3-2 Boilermakers have seen the Over/Under go 2-3 so far this year, while the 5-0 Badgers have seen it go 4-1. Purdue comes in off a 31-17 win at home over Minnesota last weekend, while Wisconsin handled Nebraska 38-17. The Boilermakers are ranked 69th in scoring offense with an average of 29.6 PPG, while ranked 36th in scoring defense in allowing 20.6. QB David Blough has 688 yards, seven TD"s and four INT's thus far. QB Elijah Sindelar has 614 yards, six TD's and two INT's. Wisconsin averages 40.2 PPG and allows just 14.2, ranked ninth in the country. QB Alex Hornibrook has 1,011 yards, ten TD's and four INT's, while RB Jon Taylor has 767 yards and nine scores. Note that Purdue has seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of its last 12 on the road, while Wisconsin has seen the total go UNDER the number in nine of its last 14 against teams with winning records. Ultimately we feel that Purdue's defense is going to be able to slow down Hornibrook and keep this one competitive, resulting in the lower-scoring UNDER.
