As note that Columbus has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of 15 already this year against teams with winning records, while Toronto has seen the total go OVER the number in 10 of 19 against teams with winning records and in 11 of 19 after a non-conference contest.
The bottom line: The Blue Jackets come in off a 3-2 home win over Florida last night and will look to continue to try and make up ground in the Metropolitan. Toronto will be looking to take advantage as it pushes the pace from start to finish. The Leafs have won back-to-back 3-2 shootout games at home and play with revenge tonight as well after falling Columbus 4-2 in mid December. We're expecting a wide-open shootout, play the OVER.
