Even though the Yankees are massive favorites, this weekend series in Baltimore has significant postseason implications. The Yankees currently hold the 8th and final spot in the American League. The surprising Orioles aren’t far behind, just 1.5 games in fact, and that’s after they lost yesterday and the Yankees won. Clearly, this is a chance for NY to “get right” again and we like the offense to certainly do just that. They scored 7 runs yesterday in a win over Toronto. That’s a far cry from the 11 total runs they scored in a four-game series with Baltimore last week. But there is a concern for the Yankees and it’s starter Gerrit Cole, who has given up a total of 14 runs in his last three starts, including six home runs. Baltimore has 28 hits its last two games and has scored at least five runs in six consecutive games. The Over has hit in the Yankees last five series openers. Play on OVER
