This is an 8* TOTAL ASSASSIN on the UNDER between the Texas Rangers and the Chicago White Sox.
I think this is a good spot for an UNDER play. As a situational handicapper, these are the types of games that I always keep my eyes open for, the Rangers enter this contest having been swept in three straight to the Indians, scoring just 5 runs while allowing a ghastly 18. The White Sox lost two of three to the Twins including yesterday's embarrassing 16-3 setback (note that Chicago has in fact seen the total go OVER the number in six straight). Note that Texas has hit just .214 with runners in scoring position while losing 33 of its last 41. The visitors send Nick Martinez (1-7, 5.08 ERA) to the mound, who is actually 0-6 with a poor 7.45 ERA over his last eight outings. This is a spot that Martinez can bounce back in, note that despite posting a 1-3 road record, he's owns a very respectable 3.66 ERA away from friendly confines. The home side counters with Hector Noesi (5-8, 5.21 ERA) who is coming off an outing to forget in which he gave up six runs off ten hits over six frames in his team's 7-2 loss at Detroit on Wednesday; here is the perfect opponent to get untracked against though, Noesi has a big opportunity in facing the anemic Rangers' line-up tonight. I think these teams will combine for no more that 9 runs this evening, play on the UNDER.
