Schule's 10* NHL Total Recall TERMINATOR - *EARLY START*
(NHL) Philadelphia vs. NY Rangers, 11/29/2014 8:00 AM, Score: 2 - 5
Total: 5.50 | 105.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is an (8*) play on PHI@NYR to go UNDER the total.

The Rangers have shutout the Flyers over both meetings this season, winning 2-0 in Philadelphia on Nov 19 and 3-0 last night. The visitors have struggled to find the net over an extended period of time, scoring only 14 over their last eight games, but should be able to contain the Rangers attack fairly well themselves.

With Steve Mason starting last night we can expect to see Ray Emery tending the net for Philly. He has done well against the Rangers over his career, going 7-2-0 with a 1.87 GAA. It will be an interesting goaltending match-up as Henrik Lundqvist is likely to take place between the pipes for the home team. As impressive as Emery's versus stats are, they're nothing compared to "King Henrik's". The Swede has won eight straight home meetings with the Flyers, allowing only 1.13 goals on average.

It is fair to assume that the Rangers will win this game, but they rarely blow lesser teams away. Seven of their last 10 versus a team with a winning percentage below .400 have gone under the total, and the under is 4-1 in their last five playing back to back games.

Take UNDER.

Jesse Schule
