LeBron's return to Cleveland has not been as fruitful for the Cavs as most expected, but Cleveland's slow start comes as no surprise to me. Here is an excerpt from one of my NBA futures plays before the season started:

"Let's be realistic about LeBron's move to Cleveland. This isn't the first time we've seen a team stacked with free agent stars. The Lakers signed Karl Malone and Gary Payton to play alongside Shaq and Kobe, but a lack of chemistry resulted in a loss to the Pistons in the 2004 Final. The Heat and the Big 3 didn't win the Championship either in their first season together, and it's going to take time for things to happen in Cleveland."

While they did struggle out of the gates, the Cavs have now won six straight. Their most recent win came against the Eastern Conference leading Raptors in Toronto, in a 105-91 blowout. LeBron scored 24 points with a season high 13 assists, and he and the Cavs will come into Brooklyn full of confidence.

The Nets have a losing record at home (4-5), and their last game was an ugly home loss to Atlanta by a score of 98-75. Brooklyn has lost seven of it's eight games against teams with a winning record, and LeBron has averaged 28.7 points on 56.9% shooting in his last three trips to Brooklyn.

Cleveland is asked to cover a few points as a road favorite, but I think they'll win this game handily.

Take CLE.
