The Nats are off to a good start to the season, coming off a couple of wins over the Braves in Atlanta. The Marlins are off to a slow start, losing a pair of games at home to Detroit. They open a new series in Washington Thursday, and this looks like a tough spot for the visitors.
Tanner Roark will toe the slab for the Nats, and he posted a record of 15-10 with a 2.85 ERA in 2014. He spent most of last season in the bullpen, but he's back in the rotation and he's coming off a solid Spring.
The Marlins hand the ball to 25 year old Adam Conley, who has but 11 starts under his belt. The southpaw surrendered three runs on six hits over five innings in his only start versus Washington last year.
Miami has lost seven of it's last nine road games.
