The Pirates host Arizona in Game 1 of a new series in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, and this looks like a mismatch in favor of the home team.

Francisco Liriano will toe the slab for the Pirates, and he's coming off another solid outing. Liriano (3-3, 4.63 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on seven hits over seven innings, but was saddled with a 3-1 loss to Atlanta his last time out. He boasts an impressive 1.37 ERA in three starts at home this season, and he's had little trouble with Arizona, holding them to a team batting average of .209 with 19 strikeouts in 115 at bats.

The D'Backs will hand the ball to Shelby Miller, who is one of this season's biggest disappointments. After putting up dazzling numbers in Atlanta last year, he's gone 1-5 with a 6.64 ERA in Arizona. His only win came against the lowly Braves in his old ballpark.

Andrew McCutchen is batting .318 lifetime versus Miller.
