The Nats took 2-of-3 in a series in New York last week, and they host the Mets in Game 2 of a home series on Tuesday. My money is on Washington with a favorable matchup on the mound.

Stephen Strasburg will toe the slab for the Nats, and he is coming off a big win in New York his last time out. Strasburg (7-0, 2.80 ERA) allowed one run on six hits, striking out 10 in six innings of a 9-1 win at Citi Field. It was the fourth time this season he's had 10 or more strikeouts in a game.

The Mets hand the ball to Matt Harvey, who was torched for nine runs on eight hits and two walks in just 2 2/3 innings in the loss opposite Strasburg. Harvey (3-6, 5.77 ERA) gave up five runs on 11 hits in a loss to Colorado in his previous start. He hasn't pitched well at Nationals park, surrendering 13 runs on 26 hits in just over 26 innings in his last four starts in the nation's capital.
