The Coach's MLB National League SURE SHOT
(MLB) San Francisco vs. Cincinnati, 05/15/2015 3:10 PM, Score: 10 - 2
Point Spread: 1.50 | -125.00 Cincinnati (Home)
Result: Loss
The Cincinnati Reds claimed the opener of a four-game set against the San Francisco Giants 4-3 last night and they've now booked three wins in a row. They've won each of the last five meetings against the Giants, and I like the Reds to record an upset and extend that streak tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Giants will hand the ball to Madison Bumgarner (3-2, 3.30 ERA) who has found it hard to replicate last year's form. He's coming off a 6-2 loss versus Miami where he surrendered three runs on five hits with a homer while lasing just five innings. The 25 year old southpaw is just 2-3 with a 4.66 ERA in six career starts against Cincinnati and the Reds are 12-4 in their last 16 home games when facing a left-handed starter. Cincinnati will counter with Jason Marquis (3-2, 5.66 ERA) who was torched by the White Sox at Cellular Field his last start. He's been pretty sharp at home though, going 1-0 with a 3.21 ERA over two starts and the veteran is 7-5 with a 2.95 ERA in 17 career games (16 starts) against the Giants.

2. Road Woes - San Francisco has won only three of its last eight road-games and it is 1-6 in their last seven away from home when coming up against a right-handed starter.

3. X-Factor - Todd Frazier is 3-for-8 with two homers in his last three games and he's 4-for-9 against Mad Bum lifetime.

Selection: This is a play on the Cincinnati Reds +1.5 (8*)
