Houston has a great coach in Kelvin Sampson, but I have to put some respect on the name of Jim Larranaga, who has made a legendary career out of doing more with less.

I've loved this Houston team this season, but there are concerns that alot of bettors are overlooking. The Cougars let an inferior NKU team (221st in adjusted offensive efficiency) hang around in round one but got by with NKU shooting 5 for 33 from three-point range. In round two, Auburn (43rd in adjusted offensive efficiency) missed 17 free throws.
Miami is 11th in the nation in adjusted offensive efficiency, 12th from the free throw line, and 42nd from three-point range.
Houston is 2-6 ATS in its last 8 games. I will take the Canes to keep this one close.
