Detroit doesn't have high expectations, but the fans and crowd in Detroit are great for the big moments like Opening Day. The Tigers will likely be playing in front of their best home crowd that they will see on Thursday against a Red Sox team that will be led by Chris Sale who has only started 12 total games over the last four season.
Detroit won 2 out of 3 in their previous series against Houston and the Red Sox were just spent by Pittsburgh. Now Boston will hit the road for the first time this season, and Detroit will finally get to play at home.
This is certainly no lock, but Boston is way overvalued here.
