With Ruby Gobert and Jaden McDaniels out most bettors and analysis are not giving the Timberwolves much of a chance, but I am fading the public here.
I expect to see the Timberwolves step up as a dog here. Minnesota is 8-4 straight up without Gobert. Minnesota is also 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games against the Lakers. The Timberwolves are also 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games against a team with a winning home record.
All the pressure is on LA, I expect this game to be competitive.
