I'm not afraid of the big number here. Colorado State is in rebuilding mode under head coach Jay Norvell who made a move after leading Nevada to an 8-4 record last season. Although Norvell is a good coach, with a new group of players, questions on the offensive line, and an inexperienced quarterback in Clay Millen, to say this is a challenging opening game is an understatement.

Last season Michigan was a nation's best 11-3 ATS. They also beat two solid MAC schools, Western Michigan (47-14) as a 16-point favorite and Northern Illinois (63-10) as a 27.5-point favorite, and I expect the Wolverines to flex their muscles in a similar fashion here. Also considering that the Wolverines are in a full-blown quarterback competition between Cade McNamara and JJ McCarthy, don't expect the Wolverines to get too conservative or let their foot off the gas offensively. Michigan wins this game by more than 31 here.
