Navy got off to a poor start this season, while SMU started strong, but these two teams are now both trending in the opposite directions.
The SMU program seems to be in disarray with multiple players announcing that they are sitting out for the rest of the season and entering the transfer portal days before they lost 41-19 to UCF.
Navy is coming off a dominant 53-21 win over Tulsa and is 12th in the nation rushing for 231.8 yards per game, which will be a struggle for the SMU defense to contain as the Mustangs are 116th allowing 5.1 yards per rushing attempt.
I think the Midship could potentially win this game as a big +360 dog, although their ability to slow down the SMU passing attack does concern me. I do however think Navy at anything from +10.5 or more is something I can't pass up.
