Texas Tech is averaging 36 ppg in Big 12 competition this season. The Red Raiders are also third in the nation in passing yards per game, and only nine teams in the country run the ball on a lower percentage of plays than Texas Tech does. Except the Red Raiders to move the ball well going up against a Baylor defense that is 80th passing yards allowed. Baylor defends the run better, but that won't matter much in this game. The over is also 3-1 in Texas Tech games this season, with the exception being last weeks 48-10 win over West Virginia with the total set at 65.
Unlike what Texas Tech saw last week, Baylor will do their part to push this one over the total as well. The over is 4-0 in Baylor's Big 12 games, and their offense can move the ball through the air and on the ground, and the Tech defense is 91st in rushing yards per play allowed.
