The Chicago Cubs opened this three-game series with a 13-5 rout Friday night, and think they'll get the better of their NL Central opponent again here on Saturday.

Kyle Hendricks (4-6, 3.48 ERA) will take the ball for the Cubs. They've lost each of his last three starts, despite the right-hander giving up a respectable eight runs during that stretch. He held Pittsburgh to one run in five innings his last time out and has strong career numbers against the Cards (3.32 ERA with a 2-2 record in 10 starts).

St. Louis counters with Carlos Martinez (3-3, 2.50 ERA) who's had an outstanding start to the season, but the Cards have lost each of his last three starts. Martinez was tagged with five runs on four hits and seven walks in just 3 2/3 innings at Cincinnati his last time out and has now walked 12 over 7 2/3 innings in two starts since returning from a lat strain. He owns a 4.72 ERA in his last three seasons against the Cubs.
