The New York Yankees got the job done on the runline as our MLB Game of the Week on Saturday.
I'm happy to back them to win by at least two balls again in this contest with James Paxton (0-1, 27.00 ERA) on the mound. The left-hander had an ugly season opener where he was tagged with three runs on five hits in just one inning of a 9-2 loss to Washington. I expect a big rebound game here as he is 5-1 with a 2.88 ERA in eight career starts against Boston.
Austin Brice (0-0, 7.71 ERA) will take the mound for the Red Sox. The 28-year-old right-hander has made four appearances out of the bullpen and is expected to go only a few innings in this one and then hand over the ball to a Red Sox bullpen that has posted a 4.04 ERA on the season.
