MLB - The Mets have won 5 of 6 games and appear to have turned the corner after being a little slow out of the gates this season. The Cubs, on the other hand, are still scuffling as they have lost 8 of 11 games. The problem for Chicago, at least one of the problems, has been hitting. The Cubs had one 13-run outburst to blast the Braves in 1 of those 11 games but in the other 10 games Chicago averaged just 2 runs per game. Taijuan Walker is throwing very well for the Mets with plenty of heat on his pitches. He has a 2.61 ERA thus far and also was strong in spring training. Jake Arrieta had a 6.23 ERA in home starts with the Phillies last season.
