Left-hander Justin Steele (16-3, 2.49 ERA) will take the mound for the Cubs on Friday night. Steele, one of the front-runners for the NL Cy Young Award, is 7-0 with a 2.48 ERA over his past 10 starts. Arizona rookie right-hander Brandon Pfaadt (1-8, 6.25 ERA) will attempt to bounce back on Friday after he served up three homers in a no-decision against the Cubs on Sunday. He gave up four runs and seven hits over six innings. We like the Cubs to get the W, as they are desperately trying to make the playoffs, and they have all the motivation.
