Take #320 Chiefs/Ravens Over
(NFL) Kansas City vs. Baltimore,
Total: 44.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
Lamar played great against Houston in the 2nd half, they only scored 10 in the 1st half but after the Lamar Knute Rocke speech, they came out on fire and scored 3 TD's in the second half - In fact Lamar posted a 94 QBR and the Ravens were 0.41 Expected Point Average per play, so basically, every five of their plays added two full points to their expected scoring margin - Also lets remember that Buffalo moved the ball almost at will vs KC, and I know the Chiefs have a great defense, but it didn't really show last week, and you know...what if Diggs catches that bomb from Josh Allen? I mean..that could've been a TD or at least a closer FG for Bass, and then maybe the Bills are playing the Ravens right? But my point is, I don't think KC is slowing the Ravens offense down......Now on the flipside, are the Ravens gonna shut down KC? I don't think so. Mahomes didn't throw for a ton of yardage, but he did have a 91.2 QBR in some pretty cold weather very similar to what we will see this weekend - KC ran for 146 yards, and I know the Ravens rushing defense is elite, they only allowed 38 YPG on the ground, which is insane, BUT...lesser teams have scored on them this year. Arizona put up 24 on them, Cleveland put up 33 on them, the Rams put up 31 on them...and you have Mahomes and Andy Reid here and I just think we're at least getting 20 or 21 points out of the Chiefs based on pedigree. I get that Stroud got shutout and he's a great rookie QB, but he is a ROOKIE, and the moment was very big for him and credit to the Ravens, they game planned him well, but I think this is like a 24-21, 27-24, 28-27 type of game as long as Andy Reid doesn't hand the ball off to Mecole Hardiman at the 2 yard line again, I think we see points here on Sunday.
