Take #210 Aggies Over Fighting Irish
(NCAAF) Fighting Irish (ND) vs. Aggies (TXAM),
Money Line: -116.00 Aggies (TXAM) (Home)
Result: Loss
Indeed, Notre Dame had a notable 2023 season with impressive victories. Their wins over the USC Trojans and Oregon State Beavers, along with their three victories against ranked teams, was impressive.

In contrast, Texas A&M’s 2023 season was marked by a lack of success against ranked opponents. Going 0-5 against ranked teams suggests they struggled to compete at the highest level, despite not suffering any blowout losses in their SEC schedule. This could indicate challenges in closing out games against top-tier teams or weaknesses that need addressing.

Conner Weigman stepping into the starting role for Texas A&M is a key storyline for the Aggies in 2024. He showed promise in his limited appearances during his first two years, and now the expectation is for him to take charge of the offense, and throw the ball to star wideout Noah Thomas.

With 24 passing touchdowns and 19 rushing touchdowns in his college career, Riley Leonard has demonstrated his playmaking ability and knack for finding the end zone, and will try to do so for the Irish. This dual-threat aspect will add a new dimension to Notre Dame's offense, potentially opening up opportunities both in the air and on the ground.

We like the Aggies here however. We think they make an opening statement here on Saturday evening, and we will fade Notre Dame and roll with the Aggies.
