The Wildcats had a solid season last year, finishing with an 8-5 record and capping it off with a victory in the Las Vegas Bowl. However, their offense struggled at times, averaging just 22.1 points per game, which ranked 106th in college football. On the defensive side, they were more effective, conceding 22.5 points per game, placing them 40th nationally.
The RedHawks, on the other hand, had an impressive regular season, going 11-3 before falling in the Cure Bowl. Their offense was slightly better than the Wildcats', averaging 25.6 points per game, ranking them 79th in college football. However, it was their defense that truly stood out, as they conceded only 15.9 points per game, making them one of the top defensive teams in the country, ranked seventh in the country.
We like the RedHawks here. We cannot back Northwestern to start the season and this line is low for a reason. Let's roll Miami Ohio.
