Minnesota is what I like to call a Peter Principle team. After 7-2 straight up and 8-1 against the spread start, lost two of last three by 17 or more. The only win was to an Atlanta that is playing rancid football.

Best NFC contenders Minnesota will play are Green Bay, Seattle, Arizona. In the first two they are 0-2 by a 68-20 margin. The first two at home and this one is on the road.

Six of Arizona's last eight games were on road, now return home. Teams won six straight and return home off of two straight road games 24-14. This is especially interesting since teams on six-game winning streak just 47.9 overall but when returning home after passing road tests is when they excel.

The home team on TNF with no bye off consecutive road games when opponent off home is 15-8 against the spread. 90 percent is half-mental as Vikings long history of quick starts then collapses. Yes the coaching staff and players have changed, but the players start hearing this and they way they have played recently, it will get in their heads.
