Tulane is the most fortunate team in the country. Despite a 16-14 straight up mark they are averaging 64.8 points and allowing 70.1. The Green Wave are connecting on just 41.3-percent from the floor and 34.9-percent from three and are allowing 44.3-percent from the field and 34.7-percent from three. TU is being outrebounded, 34.2-to-34.0.They have nine wins by six or fewer including five by three or less.

Most importantly, then they lose they often lose big. Eight of their losses are by 18 or more points. In fact, each of their last four losses were by at least 18 including 78-47 to Southern Miss.

Southern Miss is going to make the NCAA Tournament. But now they are in position to make a statement. Southern Miss is averaging 72.8 points per game and is leading C-USA in scoring defense, allowing just 62.7 points per game. Playing a team that was just held to 47. In fact, three times in their last four games, Tulane has shot 36.2 percent from the field or worse. We look for it to get ugly, though quite pretty for us.
