Marlins at Nats
(MLB) Marlins (MIA) vs. Nationals (WAS),
Money Line: -118.00 Nationals (WAS) (Home)
Result: Win
Not a bad price here on the Nats, considering the way they have dominated the Marlins this season. These numbers are no fabrications...they're 6-0 against Miami after winning the first two games of this weekend set at D.C., putting Washington at 6-0 against the Marlins since April. Moreover, the Nats have outscored Miami a whopping 48-17 across those six wins! The Marlins' non-offense has continued in the same fashion, scoring all of one run this weekend while allowing 12 in the first two games, and not sure Miami can count on starter Jesus Luzardo (5.11 ERA), just one start removed from getting blasted by the Rays on June 4. Meanwhile, Mitchell Parker (3.21 ERA) continues as one of the many pleasant surprises for Dave Martinez and his pitching staff this season as Washington finds itself very much in the NL wild card frame.
