T.M. Selection: St Louis Cardinals.

I like the St Louis Cardinals to win this game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday. The Cardinals have been hot lately and have looked really good in their games, winning 5 games in a row now. They have been surging ever since they surpassed the Brewers for 1st place in the division and they have even gained a 4 game lead over them on their run here. They already beat the D-Backs 5-1 yesterday and I expect the Cardinals to stay on their hot run here. Madison Bumgarner (6-12, 4.37 ERA) is up for the D-Backs here and he got off to a great start at the beginning of the year, but he has looked really shaky in the months since then and he has looked terrible in his starts as of late. He has given up 4+ runs in 4 starts in a row now and just gave up 6 in his most recent start. I don't see him bouncing back with a good performance here either since he has been stringing a few bad starts together lately and the Cardinals offense is very hot right now. Dakota Hudson (6-6, 4.17 ERA) is up for the Cardinals here and he hasn't looked great this year but, he has looked a lot better in his starts lately and hasn't been giving up that many runs. I expect the Cardinals to put up runs in this game and I see them continuing on their run here. I like the Cardinals to win this game.
