The Cincinnati Reds took two of three from the Milwaukee Brewers. Cincinnati has had some trouble finding offense this season, but they have had a few bright spots. Eugenio Suarez leads the team with 15 homers, 36 RBI but is hitting just .205 on the season. Nick Castellanos has hit 14 home runs and has driven in 32 with a .226 batting average. Jesse Winker is hitting .259 with 12 home runs and 23 runs batted in. Tyler Mahle will make the start for the Reds. He has appeared in nine games with eight starts, posting a 2-2 record with a 3.57 ERA and 56 Ks in 45.1 innings.

Minnesota is coming off taking two games from Detroit before heading south to Cincinnati. The Twins offense this season has been led by Nelson Cruz with 16 home runs, to go with 32 RBI, and a .314 batting average. Eddie Rosario adds 13 homers and he has driven in 39. The Twins will send Jose Berrios to the mound for today's start. On the season, he has made 11 starts with a 5-3 record with a 3.72 ERA.

Mahle is 2-1 over his past five starts with a 3.10 ERA. Berrios has a 2.05 ERA in four September starts with 22 strikeouts in 22 innings this month. Cincinnati is very inconsistent at the plate. The Twins have a chance to win the AL Central so they will be putting out maximum effort.
