What has gone under the radar a bit here is note that these two teams have played each other earlier this year and the game went over the posted total as La Tech pushed the envelope and gave Temple all they can handle nearly beating them as Temple ended up winning 82-75 back on November 17th. They scored 157 in that game and tonight's total is set at 150. I expect a lot more defense tonight! Temple is a top 20 defensive team and took La Tech lightly when they hooked up last time and its hard to see them taking them lightly here. Note that Temple will not look to give up 75 points like they did last time out, they are a top 5 turnover percentage team and Coach Michael White is one of the best coaches at making the necessary adjustments especially on the defensive side of the ball. Look for Temple to step up defensively as well as La Tech as this game likely goes under the posted total this evening. We have this game at a much slower pace than the previous contest.
