The Rangers, who have the best record in the American League at 49-27, won a three-game series for the seventh time after dropping the opener. The Texas Rangers are 27-8 through their last 35 games and have been money as underdogs all season long. They are also 37-17 versus right handed starters.
The Texas bat have been red hot and they have 6 guys in their lineup hitting over .270 this year while the Yanks have just 3.


Rangers RHP Chi Chi Gonzalez is set for his first appearance of the season in the opener of a four-game series at the Yankees on Monday night. The Yanks have never faced him so that advantage goes to the Rangers. Gonzalez had a 2.87 ERA on the road last season. The 24 year old has been pretty sharp in the minors lately posting a 3.71 ERA through his last seven outings.

Rangers are 13-3 in their last 16 road games and I'll take them here in NY on Monday night as a small underdog.
