(NCAAF) Illinois vs. USF,
Point Spread: -17.00 | -115.00 USF (Home)
Result: Win
We are passing the Thursday NFL and College Football and turn our attention to Friday night College Football here.
Both of these teams are 2-0 to start the season.
Charlie Strong's South Florida team is 2-0 and ranked 21st in the nation and get a primetime game on Friday night.
South Florida has a prolific offense and an improving defense under Strong.

In the past nine years Illinois has never won more than a single road game in a season and has put up just a 8-33 away record in that time span, are just 5-11 against the spread in their last 16 games as a road dog, are 3-8 versus the number in their last 11 against teams with a winning record and have lost their last 17 straight games against ranked opponents. Now they find themselves traveling to Florida on a short week with injuries on both sides of the ball and facing a USF team that has had an extra week to prepare.
That should be the difference here in that South Florida's defense should hold against an average Illinois defense and South Florida's offense should still be able to move the ball with all the talent they have.
