Let's just say that Boston College will be rockin' on this Saturday night as the BC Eagles have a shot to really shake up the College Football Playoff world. Clemson is off a 60 pt win, YES 60. Talk about an over-inflated line here.
Boston College is playing very well balanced on the offense as the passing attack is ranked 84th in the passing attack with 214 yards a game. I love the defensive side of the ball in this game. To me, that'll ultimately decides this one. The Tigers do a great job of now attacking vertically in the passing game. One of the hallmarks of the Boston College defense has a chance to make that difficult. BC's pass rush does a great job of collapsing the pocket, making it tough for QBs to extend and buy time to find targets deep down field.

The rushing offense has been able to gain a total of 225 yards a game and that is ranked 24th in the nation. The scoring offense for the Eagles has managed to put in 37 points a game which is ranked 23rd in the nation.



When it comes to protecting the field the Eagles are giving up 221 yards a game on the year so far and that is ranked 56th in the nation.



The Boston College squad is going to put up a huge battle here and playing on their home field will help the Eagles out in getting some strong play here. However, the Tigers have way too much offensive power in the game coming onto the field. With a prime-time home game before a national TV audience, this has to be the biggest game in the program's history since Matt Ryan was its signal-caller. The Eagles should put up enough of a fight Saturday stay within the 20 pts.
