Iowa has been having a solid season, but unfortunately for the Hawkeyes they've come up just short in back to back weeks on the road against Penn State and Purdue. On the year Iowa stands 6-3 overall and 3-3 in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes play slow and lean on their defense as Iowa ranks an impressive 14th in the nation in points allowed compared to 59th in scoring. Iowa should be happy to get back home coming off two straight difficult road game.

This is likely to be a lower scoring affair with two teams who have defenses that have performed better than their respective offenses. Iowa has great linebackers and that will keep the short passing game of NW in check. I think Iowa wins this one big and we'll use them as our comp play on Saturday afternoon.
