Belmont has gotten off to a solid 5-0 start and the Bruins last 2 D1 wins have come in true road settings against Lipscomb and Kennesaw State. This might be the toughest test Belmont has faced yet to open the year given how surprisingly strong Samford has been. The Bulldogs were a huge disappointment last season, but Samford's reformed roster has been great standing 7-1 overall with their only loss coming at Ohio State. We look for Samford to continue to play well as they stay competitive with Belmont and get the cover.
