I look for the KC Royals to bounce back tonight against Oakland and Kazmir. The Royals pitching gave up 20 hits and 11 runs last night. KC starter Vargas hopes to be sharper in this third time out. Some rust showed in his outings against the A's and Giants but he has very good stuff. He needed 101 pitches to get through five innings vs. the Giants and left in a 2-2 tie but held his own despite some control problems. KC is still in 1st place by 1/2 game and I like them here on Wednesday night to notch another win.
