I'm on Michigan State in the opening round of the NCAA tournament, for these reasons:
- Coaching Experience. We have to back the better coach who has more wins in the tournament and first round (Tom Izzo), than Mississippi State HC Chris Jans.
- Both teams are defensively sturdy so we have to look offensively, and Michigan State have been more efficient and less mistake prone than Mississippi State who do play at a faster pace and will be liable to turn the ball over (nearly 13 per game on average).
