Milwaukee won the opening game of this interleague set between division leaders by a 7-6 score in a wild contest where both teams burned through several relievers. Both teams used five relievers with the Twins burning through key arms like Jhoan Duran, Tyler Duffey and Griffin Jax while the Brewers used their trio of high-leverage guys in Brad Boxberger, Devin Williams and Josh Hader. With that said, the Brewers send the reigning NL Cy Young winner in Corbin Burnes to the hill while the Twins counter with Chris Archer. While Archer has been decent, he doesn't provide much in the way of length. He has not thrown more than five innings in any of his 16 starts this season. Meanwhile, Burnes has gone at least six innings in 15 of his 19 starts. Taking stress off the bullpen works for the Brewers' favor and they come up with the victory here.
