ASA play on Atlanta Hawks +6.5 at NY Knicks – 3 PM ET - Note this is a day game. We are not expecting a true home court advantage for the Knicks here in this afternoon’s game at the Garden. New York has two major injury concerns with both Josh Hart and Karl-Athony Towns both listed as day-to-day. Atlanta has gone through some injury issues but are back to full health with the return of Jalen Johnson. The Hawks are playing well right now with a 4-1 SU record and three straight wins, including a ‘W’ in Boston. If we look at the last five games of every NBA team, the Hawks have the 11th best Net Rating of +4.1 in that span of games. In comparison, the Knicks are minus -1.7 in that same stretch of games. NY is dangerous coming off a loss with a 12-3 SU record this season but the points with Atlanta are just too generous to overlook. The Knicks have lost 3 of their last four at home, while Atlanta has won 3 of their last four on the road. The Hawks match up very well against New York and have won 3 straight in the series, two of which came this season, one of which was in NY. Atlanta is worth a light play on Monday, especially if KAT doesn’t suit-up for the Knicks.
