Result: Win
The Los Angeles Lakers bounced back in a big way after their Game 1 defeat to the Portland Trailblazers. The Lakers built a 33 point lead and coasted to a 111-88 win in Game 2. After being accused of not showing up in the second half of Game 1, Anthony Davis exploded for 31 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Kentavious-Caldwell Pope had 16 points and Lebron James had an um-Lebron night scoring just 10 points but he did have seven assists. The defense was the key as the held Portland to just 39 points in the first half. Game 2 had to be a letdown for Portland after their showing in Game 1. Damian Lillard finished the game with just 18 points, but more importantly, he dislocated a finger but is expected to give it a go. CJ McCollum only had 13 points and Carmelo Anthony was a ghost, putting up just two points on one of six shooting.

The Lakers looked in Game 2 like the number one overall seed. Davis stepped up and dominated like he is expected to and the rest of the role players stepped up. Will they blowout Portland again? Highly doubtful but can they cover. Who knows how long and how effective Lilliard will be with that finger. If he goes into the paint, I would expect to see a lot of slaps to the hand. The Lakers won't win by 23 but they will cover the number.

Play on the LA Lakers.
